Technical & commercial FAQ

The practical questions, answered.

Every property is different. These are the principles we use before recommending a solution.

How much electrical capacity does my property need?

Capacity depends on the charger mix, traffic profile and existing site load. SwiftCharge starts with a technical site assessment, reviews the electrical supply and recommends an appropriate AC or DC solution. Where suitable, managed charging can help keep the installation within an agreed site power limit.

Who pays for the chargers and installation?

There is no one-size-fits-all commercial model. Hardware, electrical work, civil work, expected utilisation and the proposed operating structure are assessed first. You receive a clear commercial proposal showing responsibilities, costs and revenue terms before any commitment.

Who manages billing, drivers and maintenance?

SwiftCharge provides the operating platform, driver billing, transaction records, network monitoring and support workflow. The agreed service plan covers remote diagnostics, maintenance coordination and operational reporting, so your team does not have to run a charging network.

How is charging revenue calculated and distributed?

Charging tariffs and the commercial share are agreed for the site. The platform records completed sessions, metered energy and payments, and the applicable settlement and reporting process is documented in the commercial agreement.

How long does it take to go live?

Timing depends on site readiness, power availability, approvals, equipment selection and electrical or civil work. After the assessment, SwiftCharge provides a practical implementation plan with the known dependencies and target milestones.

What happens if a charger goes offline?

Connected chargers are monitored for availability and faults. SwiftCharge can investigate remotely, coordinate recovery and escalate field maintenance under the agreed support plan. Utility outages and site power interruptions are handled separately from equipment faults.
